Looking for the perfect “Date Day” here in the city? Look no further! My husband and I had a rare opportunity to go
We started our afternoon at the WNDR Museum. The museum is a completely reimagined take on a traditional museum that is full of cultural, artistic, and thought-provoking exhibits, including an amazing immersive mirror exhibit by iconic Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. We had such a fun time walking through all of the collections and exhibits together. I highly recommend adding this to any kind of date day! It would even be a fun experience for older kiddos! Walking around the West Loop/Fulton Market Neighborhoods
While waiting for our early dinner reservation, we decided to walk around the West Loop/Fulton Market area. There are so many shops and bars/restaurants in that area. We were able to kill some time just walking/sightseeing then we popped into Bandit for a pre-dinner cocktail. Other good places to try would be Parlor Pizza, Nobu, or Fox Bar!
Dinner at Trivoli Tavern
We got an early reservation at one of the West
Ending the Day on a Sweet Note
To end the day, we grabbed a sundae at Cone Gourmet Ice Cream! Other great spots in the area are Bombobar or Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream.
This was such a fun date day from start to finish! If you find yourself with 4-5 hours to spare, head to the West Loop and try it out!
