The White Sox and MLB have created Summer Slugger, a free online educational platform that uses baseball to help kids (ages 8-11) maintain their math and literacy skills while away from the classroom.
The White Sox have also created the Kids Corner app, which includes fun puzzles, games, and information on the South Siders, tailored for kids to experience a trip to the ballpark without leaving the living room!
The goal is that this should be fun content for parents to engage their children in baseball activities at homee prior to the start of the 2020 season! Here are some more links for great activities!
- Southpaw Coloring Pages
- White Sox Crossword Puzzle (Parents should help with this)
- Create a Southpaw Paper Bag Puppet
- Join the White Sox Kids Club
- Listen to your favorite White Sox player’s Walk-Up Music
I hope you and your family find some fun and excitement in these activities! Now, PLAY BALL!
